Logo & Identity Design
Youth Go Trust, formerly known as the Castledine-Barnes Trust, has been a steadfast supporter of young Go players for over two decades. Over the past seven years, the organization has provided funds to help children and young people learn and participate in the game of Go, as well as to win prizes. In 2022, to better align with their objectives and mission, the decision was made to rebrand as Youth Go Trust.
The logo design for Youth Go Trust creatively deconstructs the word "go" into three circles resembling game stones: two black and one white. This iconic symbol signifies both conflict and cooperation, key elements of the game of Go, and is easily recognizable from the Go playing board.
The simplicity and clarity of the design convey the organization's commitment to supporting young players in their journey with Go. The modern, minimalist aesthetic ensures the logo is memorable and versatile, effectively representing Youth Go Trust's mission to foster a love for Go among young enthusiasts and support their growth in the game.
